Summary:
The Payroll Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the payroll department. This includes tasks such as:
- Processing payroll, including entering timesheets, calculating deductions, and issuing paychecks.
- Maintaining employee payroll records.
- Answering employee questions about payroll.
- Assisting with payroll projects, such as year-end processing and new hire onboarding.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in a payroll or accounting role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
