Summary:
The Business Service Analyst is responsible for understanding and analyzing business processes, and designing and implementing IT solutions to improve those processes. This includes tasks such as:
- Gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Designing and developing IT solutions.
- Testing and deploying IT solutions.
- Maintaining and supporting IT solutions.
- Communicating with stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business requirements, understanding the needs of the business and how IT can be used to improve those needs.
- Design and develop IT solutions, using a variety of tools and technologies to create solutions that meet the needs of the business.
- Test and deploy IT solutions, ensuring that they are working as expected and that they meet the needs of the business.
- Maintain and support IT solutions, providing ongoing support to users and making necessary changes as needed.
- Communicate with stakeholders, keeping them informed of the progress of projects and ensuring that their needs are met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a business analyst role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
