Summary:
The Insurance Sales Manager is responsible for managing and developing a team of insurance sales professionals. This includes tasks such as:
- Setting sales goals and objectives.
- Developing and implementing sales strategies.
- Training and coaching sales representatives.
- Motivating and inspiring sales representatives.
- Measuring and evaluating sales performance.
- Maintaining relationships with clients and prospects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set sales goals and objectives for the team, and develop and implement strategies to achieve those goals.
- Train and coach sales representatives on sales techniques and products, and provide ongoing support.
- Motivate and inspire sales representatives to achieve their goals.
- Measure and evaluate sales performance, and provide feedback to sales representatives.
- Maintain relationships with clients and prospects, and identify new opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Strong sales and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to travel as needed.
