Summary:
The Junior Accountant is responsible for providing accounting support to the Finance department. This includes tasks such as:
- Processing daily transactions
- Preparing financial statements
- Maintaining accounting records
- Auditing financial data
- Assisting with tax preparation
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process daily transactions, such as sales invoices, purchase orders, and payroll.
- Prepare financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Maintain accounting records, such as general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Audit financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with tax preparation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
