Summary
The Storekeeper is responsible for the safe and efficient handling of all inventory in the storeroom. This includes receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking inventory. The Storekeeper also maintains accurate records of all inventory transactions.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect all incoming inventory.
- Store inventory in a safe and organized manner.
- Issue inventory to authorized personnel.
- Track inventory levels and order new inventory as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions.
- Perform inventory audits to ensure accuracy of inventory records.
- Resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Dispose of obsolete or damaged inventory.
- Clean and maintain the storeroom.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or storeroom environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
