Summary:
The Accountant is responsible for the financial reporting and analysis of the company. This includes tasks such as preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and providing financial advice to management. The Accountant also works with other departments to ensure that the company’s financial records are accurate and compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
- Provide financial advice to management on a variety of topics, such as budgeting, forecasting, and investment decisions.
- Maintain the company’s financial records in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Work with other departments to ensure that the company’s financial operations are efficient and effective.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- CPA or equivalent certification.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Demands:
The Accountant is required to sit for long periods of time, as well as occasionally stand, walk, and lift light objects.
